WHY VIEWING HEALED TATTOOS MATTERS?

When choosing a tattoo artist, it’s essential to look at how their tattoos heal, as this truly reflects the quality and longevity of the work. Unlike fresh tattoos, healed ones have settled into the skin and show what you’ll be living with for years to come. Over time, tattoos are covered by a layer of skin, which isn’t completely transparent, so they take on a slight skin tone. Black tattoos won’t turn blue but will take on a soft grayish hue, and colored tattoos will subtly adapt to the natural tone of your skin.

I prioritize showing my healed work to help you see how carefully crafted my tattoos are for a long-lasting, beautiful result. As an experienced tattoo artist focused on creating elegant, feminine designs, I bring meticulous attention to each piece to ensure it ages gracefully. My approach combines precision, quality, and an understanding of how tattoos will look in the years ahead.

BOOKING & DEPOSIT

A $100 deposit is required to reserve your session date and time. You can send it via Venmo, Zelle, or a payment link (please let us know which option works best for you)

THE DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE

as it minimally compensates for studio costs during downtime.
  • The deposit is included in the total cost of the session and will be deducted after the session.
  • We will send the payment details only after discussing your tattoo idea, outlining the cost, and selecting a date and time for your appointment.
  • You can reschedule your appointment with the deposit retained once, as long as you notify us at least 3 days before the session.
  • Without a deposit, your chosen appointment date is not confirmed and may be taken by someone else.

So please plan your time accordingly and treat your appointment responsibly.

By sending the deposit, you confirm that you have read all the information. After transferring the deposit, please send us a screenshot of the transaction in our chat.

Payment for the tattoo session can be made in cash, via Zelle, or with any credit or debit card.
Please note that a 5% service fee applies when paying via card.

WHAT TO WEART TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

Wondering what to wear? Dark or neutral-colored clothing without bright prints is ideal. It makes for great post-session photos and helps prevent staining light clothing.

Your outfit should:

  • Allow easy access to the tattoo area.
  • Be non-staining or something you don’t mind getting dirty (we’ll do my best to protect your clothes, but accidents can happen)
  • Provide freedom of movement.
  • Avoid pressing or rubbing against the tattoo after your session.

Suggested Clothing for Different Tattoo Placements:

  • Ribs — A soft, dark-colored top instead of a structured bra.
  • Back — A shirt or clothing with an open back (or feel free to take off your top entirely).
  • Shins, calves and ankles — Shorts or soft pants that can easily be rolled up.
  • Thigh — Dark, soft shorts.
  • Arms — T-shirts, tank tops, or sleeveless tops without bright prints.

  • If you like, bring extra cozy socks, slippers, and warm clothing for longer sessions. You’re also welcome to bring a change of clothes and change at the studio.

YOUR TATTOO DESIGN

We create custom designs only:

  • With a deposit and only after confirmation one week before the session.
  • In the order of scheduled appointments.

Please don’t send us multiple messages asking about the readiness of your design, as this won’t speed up the process. We have everything noted down and follow the plan.

THE DESIGN CREATION IS INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE TATTOO.

  • Sometimes we’ll send a preliminary sketch to clarify details.
  • The cost of each tattoo includes the creation of only ONE sketch, so creating additional sketches will incur an extra charge and take more time.

Edits:

  • If your plans change and you want to drastically alter the idea, style, or imagery, this will be considered a new design and will be charged separately. The cost of the tattoo may also change based on the new design.
  • We can make up to 3 major changes for free (for example, changing one large element).
  • Additionally, we can make up to 5 minor changes for free (such as changing a color, a leaf, softening a shadow, etc.).
Don’t worry, we rarely exceed the number of revisions. And if we do, we will let you know immediately. If you don’t hear from us, the changes are free.

To Minimize changes:

  • Describe your idea as detailed as possible, attach references, and specify what you like and dislike.
  • Tell us about everything important that should be included in your tattoo.
  • If you have any doubts, let us know.

WELCOME & STUDIO GUIDELINES

We strive to create the most comfortable experience for everyone in our studio, so we have a few guidelines.

Our receptionist will welcome you, and there will always be water, drinks, and snacks available before, during, and after your session.

In Our Studio, You’re Welcome To:

  • Feel at home — we provide everything you need for comfort and safety.
  • Heat up food and take a meal break during long sessions.
  • Take breaks as needed during your session.
  • Watch a movie on your phone, tablet, or laptop with headphones or read a book.
  • Bring one supportive guest. Please just let us know in advance.
  • Celebrate your new tattoo and take beautiful photos of it!

PLEASE AVOID:

  • Arriving with a large group: all guests, except for one supportive person, will need to wait in the lobby (space permitting) or step outside.
  • Bringing pets or children — Texas state health department regulations prohibit them in the work area, even if they’re quiet. If this rule is broken, we’ll have to reschedule your session to another day, and the deposit will be lost.

Running Late:

We understand that things happen, but we also have personal and professional boundaries in our work.

  • If you know you’ll be late, please let us know as soon as possible and give an estimated delay time.
  • If you’re more than 30 minutes late, we may need to cancel your session and reschedule, without refunding the deposit.

Why?

  • We often have multiple clients scheduled in one day, and if we run late, it creates a ripple effect that causes delays for everyone else.
  • We value both your time and our, so please plan carefully to allow for travel time and any unexpected delays. Thank you!

AFTERCARE & HEALING PROCESS

Getting a tattoo creates a small wound in the skin to place the ink, so it’s important not just how precisely the tattoo is done, but also how well you care for it during healing — after all, your tattoo is a healing wound.

How long does healing take?
Tattoos usually heal within 30 to 45 days after your session, depending on the size of the tattoo and how your body regenerates. During this time, it may peel and itch as the pigment settles and the skin recovers. Avoid scratching or picking at your tattoo in the first month.

Aftercare restrictions
No matter which healing method you choose, be sure to follow these rules while your tattoo heals:

  • Avoid alcohol, excess caffeine, aspirin, and energy drinks for the first 3 days.
  • Limit exercise and intense physical activity for 10–20 days, depending on tattoo size.
  • Don’t soak or steam your tattoo for 30 days: no baths, saunas, or pools - stick to short, lukewarm showers.
  • Keep the tattoo protected from physical irritation for 30 days: don’t shave, scrub, pick, use loofahs, or wear rough/tight clothes over it.
Our two preferred healing methods:

Method 1: Healing film (second skin)
Included in the session price, though not suitable for all tattoo sizes or placements. Once the film is removed, apply a fragrance-free lotion (like Aquaphor) — we’ll provide one for you, or you can use your own.

Method 2: For large tattoos — absorbent pad + cream
A slightly less convenient but very reliable method. We’ll provide one pad and cream — no need to bring anything with you.

Recommended aftercare creams/balms:
Mad Rabbit (our favorite), Hustle Butter, After Inked, Tattoo Goo.

After your session, we’ll give you a detailed aftercare guide and moisturizer to help your tattoo heal properly.

TATTOO AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
We’ve created a step-by-step healing guide so you don’t have to rely on unverified sources. It’s important to stay informed - because proper healing is just as crucial as the tattoo itself. A tattoo is a 50/50 collaboration: the artist creates it with care and skill, and you complete the process by healing it properly.
